Selection Process

All applications were reviewed and assessed on a competitive basis. Information provided in the application form about your property assisted the assessment of the priority of funding.

An Advisory Committee, including representatives from emergency services, Primary Producers SA and the Local Government Association assessed the applications.

Assessment took into account:

  • value for money
  • geographic location
  • existing capability
  • risk factors including property use and terrain.

Not all eligible applicants received grant funding because demand exceeded the available funds.

All 2018 applicants were advised whether they are successful or not in mid-June 2018.
