Volunteer and Employer Recognition Events

SAFECOM has developed the Volunteer & Employee Recognition & Support Program (VERSP) that formally recognises and rewards the passion and commitment of our emergency services volunteers and their employers. 'VERSP' events are held regularly throughout the year.

Emergency Services Medals 2008

The South Australia Emergency Services Medal and Ministerial Commendations are awards that recognise the tireless and extraordinary work of persons contributing to community safety through operational emergency service organisations and associated agencies.  SAFECOM is responsible for administering this award process and making the recommendations to the Minister.
