Information Management Update

The Records Management team have been working hard preparing for the rollout of the new Information Management system across the sector. To assist with this, several new staff have been selected to join the team. Teresa Stadler started on Monday 22 March and another new staff member is due to start by 28 April. The new staff will be involved in the Information Management training sessions, commencing with the first group of MFS staff on Monday 19 April.

The upgraded version of Objective Information Management system has been rolled out to current users and training has been provided. The updates include benefits such as simpler saving and searching for documents along with significantly improved seamless integration with email folders.

Lastly, a big thank you to everyone who entered the competition to name the sector's new Information Management system. Over 45 entries were received, with some staff entering multiple names! Some suggestions were extremely creative and it's definitely going to be a challenge to decide the winner of the i-Pod Nano.

All entries will be taken to the next Information Management Project Steering Committee meeting, where the winner will be decided. Keep an eye out in the next edition of COMMent for the winner and the catchy new name for the Objective Information Management system.

  Are you the winner?
Stay tuned to COMMent to find out if you are the lucky winner of the i-pod Nano
